FAQ

Some Questions People Like To Ask Before Booking My Photography Services For Their Wedding Day

Will I be able to take  prints of our wedding day from the DVD and copy it for my family and friends?

Yes, the DVD I supply is copyright free, and has no anti-copy software embedded on it. If you want prints, either do them yourself at home, or simply take the DVD to any retail outlet with photo printing facilities (Jessops, Boots, Asda etc) insert the DVD and follow the on-screen prompts for low priced high quality prints. I also highly recommend uploading the images to www.photobox.com to get other high quality photo related products. If you have a DVD burner, copying is a very simple process too.

What happens if you can’t make it to the wedding?

If I know in advance that I will be unable to make it to the wedding through illness, injury or personal circumstances, I will contact several other experienced Norfolk based professional wedding photographers and arrange for one of them to photograph your wedding. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do if I have an accident en-route or weather conditions prevent me from getting to the venue, if this occurs I will contact you as soon as possible and refund your deposit in full.

How long do you stay on my wedding day?

We don’t believe in time limits so we stay as long as is necessary to get all the shots we need to supply a good set of preview images. Generally, we start well in advance of the actual ceremony, one of us will visit the bride to get some bridal preparation shots and the other will be at the venue to photograph the groom and early guest arrivals. We then stay until after the first dance and get informal shots of the bride and groom and evening guests if they wish. We only cover one wedding per day so we will not suddenly disappear!

Are you insured?

Yes, I have Public Liability insurance to cover any mishaps on the day, and Indemnity Insurance in the unlikely event that you are not happy with the photographs we supply you with.

How long do the wedding albums take to arrive?

Once I have received your choice of album images, the traditional and overlay style albums generally take 4-6 weeks to arrive. The storybook albums take a little longer as they are all hand-made, these can take 8-10 weeks to arrive.

What happens if it rains on my wedding day?

A very common question! We all want a gorgeous day on our wedding day but the English weather is very unpredictable, and the possibility of rain and high wind is ever present! If weather conditions are too severe to do outside photography, we always carry Bowens and Elinchrom studio lighting kits which can be set up very quickly and allow us to do high quality photography indoors. I suggest that you check the weather a few days before, and if rain looks likely, please bring some flat shoes to walk with on wet grass and a couple of white or brightly coloured umbrellas, this will allow us to take a few outdoor shots of the bride and groom.

Do you carry a spare camera in case the one you are using one goes wrong?

Yes. Between us we have four spare cameras and flash units, we value the importance of the day so we try to cover for every eventuality.

Can I upgrade the photo package I initially ordered at any time?

Yes, simply inform me as soon as possible when you decide to upgrade, the extra costs will be added to the final bill.
